[Hammarlund] Early super pros

I cut my teeth on a BC-779, many years  ago.  Sorry I gave it away.  Anyway, 
the BC-779 was a single  conversion superhet with a 465 Kc IF.  The two low 
bands covered 100-200  Kc, and 200-400 Kc.  It then covered 2.5 Mc to 20 Mc in 3 
bands.  I  guess there should be no reason why you couldn't replace the LF 
coils with MF  coils.  The only problem is that the BC-779 seems to be the most 
common,  and so it is hard to find BCB coils.  Good luck in your search.
