It takes a real masochist to enjoy working in that RF deck, not to mention
getting it out and back in again :-)

I'm pretty sure the manual discusses it, but if you decide to pull the RF
deck, make sure you set the bandswitch to an "in-between" position not on a
band detent before lifting it out or setting it back in place.

There are probably some black beauties inside the crystal deck subchassis
also, and you have to remove the entire assembly from the radio to get it
open.  Even more fun :-)
