I dont know how well this would work but here is my way.

Scan the old scale.  That would require removing the thing 
so it could be placed, flat onto a scanner.  I have a scanner.

The scan it.  Process the result and covert it to grey 
scale. That should get rid of all the yellow without loosing 
any of the stuff we want to keep.

Now crop, test, and print.  Print to a glossy paper like you 
would use to print photographs.  Takes an ink jet printer.

I got one of those too.

My guess is that the results are going to be excellent.

Anyone wishing to try this, send me a yellowed scale and I 
will send it back with a new Snow White scale.
