Craig and all,

Some IF cans have integral mica capacitors. That is, the cap is molded into 
the base of the coil form between the terminals.  This involves some 
digging to get it out.  Then a new cap can be mounted either inside or 
outside the can.

There is a web site that shows what this all looks like but I don't know 
what it is.
