The original cable sets have "looms" on both ends to make it easier to ccnnect the P/S to the receiver -- basically all the spade terminals mounted to phenolic strips.

The SP-400 manual can be downloaded from the bama website. I suggest you use the mirror site:

http://bama.edebris.com/manuals/hammarlu/sp400-2/

It's 665KB in djvu format, so you might need to download the reader if you don't already have it. It's available through a link on the bama site home page.

Good luck with it.

Barry

I just picked one up and don't have a manual for it yet, I have two
questions,

1. How to hook up the power supply, there are ten screws on the back and
nine terminals from the power supply, I'm not sure which 9 to go to and not
sure which side to come from. I can pull it apart and figure it out but I
don't have any time in the next few days and would like to try it out.

2. I don't have the 500 ohm speaker for it, can I run it with some military
headphones that measure about 80 ohms (I think) without hooking up a
speaker? Also Can I get a 600 ohm transformer that goes to 8 ohms and use it
with a speaker until I get the correct speaker? Thanks,

Bob Young
