[Hammarlund] Another tidbit of info.

I have been restoring a SP-600-JX/1. The restoration is complete but thought
some of you folks would like to know this.
I used a Heathkit IM-11 to test my capacitors. Well, just for giggles, I
measured the voltage for the leakage test. These voltages were waaaaaaay
down. This was causing some of the mica caps I was testing to test "GOOD"
but in fact, were "BAD" (leaky).
CURE:
These is a 22K resistor on the voltage switch, easy to get to, which
went to 45K. I replaced the resistor and now have the rite voltages as per
the switch selection.
This may also hold true with other cap. testers from Heathkit, from this
era.
Because the voltage was low during cap testing, I was assuming the cap
was good. Would of saved me allot of time if I had checked my test equipment
first.
