[Hammarlund] kc5mip my observation of the SP-600

Well.  My veiw and feelings about the SP-600 is notion to write home to 
mother about "Ham Wise" but it is a very good Short wave receiver. After 
tuning the 80 meter  section of the band for maximum sensitivity it was 
just align just right on the 40 meter part of the band"Just Perfect" for 
a double conversion receiver it lack on the front end  and I wound up 
hooking up a pre-amp and then it work quite well. now it works great on 
80-40-and 20 meters. I would note that the receiver has a high circuit 
moise then most other recivers I have work on. other then this I very 
happy with my SP-600
