[Hammarlund] Saturday HCI 40 Meter Net Wants You!

Please join us on Saturday February 5th for the Hallicrafters Collectors
International 40 meter Net.  	
	
The pre-Net will commence at 12:30 PM EST, (1730 UTC). The Net proper at 1:00 PM
EST, (1800 UTC). 	
	
The frequency will be 7.280 MHZ lsb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the
unsettling sound of my neighbor's belching Poodle! The brain cell challenged
flea flop house on paws got into their trash and ate an entire bottle of vintage
old travel case Alka Seltzer! They called the emergency number for the
Veterinary and were told to not worry, the dog would be fine as long as they
kept it away from anything with an exposed lit flame! They were also warned to
hold their breath if they got downwind from Puddles, as rather than burp a lot,
this stuff tended to make dogs expel gas out the other end! whenever one of them
tried to run from the approaching toxic beast the dog thought it was time to
play the old 'chase game' and took off after them. Everytime that Puddles
barked, he also fired a stink bomb! People hurling, animals fleeing and old
Puddles thinking it was a new game! Quite a sight to behold over there! But
don't let those strange sounds from yonder yard distract you from enjoying the
HCI Saturday Net.
