You know, a fellow just has to ask this question.  Who in the Sam hill wants
to put a solid state digital display counter on a wonderfully made (and at
our tax dollars too!) and handcrafted unit?  This is one of the ultimate
receivers that go with the R-390, a couple of Collins, Harris, Rhode &
Schwartz, RCA (AR88), nearly none by Hallicrafters and so many more.

What do I see wrong with this picture?????  :::)))
