[Hammarlund] FS: HQ-170 with clock

I have for sale, a very nice HQ-170 with clock.  The receiver is in fine 
cosmetic and working condition. The original manual is yellowed with 
age, but looks as if it's never been thumbed through.  Price: $350, pick 
up only.

The front panel is nearly perfect, no wear around knobs.  There is a 
small scratch on the S-meter cover.  All knobs are present and in fine 
condition, including the clock knobs, front and rear.  The clock/timer 
works and keeps good time.  The clock cover is clear and unmarked, the 
face is slightly yellowed.

There are three additions to the rear chassis apron: SO-239 and RCA 
jacks for the antenna and an RCA jack for a speaker.  The antenna 
terminal strip was apparently broken when the SO-239 was installed and 
was repaired with epoxy behind.

The cabinet has a few small scrapes or chips, but is overall in 
excellent condition.  The original tube layout label is in place on the 
back.  There are some light rust spots on the top side of the chassis. 
Underneath, it looks nearly new and as if it has never been worked on 
except for the addition of the jacks and an electrolytic which bypasses 
one of the filter cap sections.

As a primarily Hallicrafters guy, I'm really impressed by the 
sensitivity, selectivity and smoothness of the tuning of this receiver, 
but I don't really have a place for it in my scheme of things.

I don't want to ship as I have no experience in shipping this sort of 
thing and don't want the hassle and risk.
