[Hammarlund] Heathkit Q multiplier

Bob,

You don't even need to be THAT elaborate...

There is always the classic "...chicken connection"---simply wrap an
extension of the QF-1 centre conductor coax cable around the actual plate
pin of the tube you wish to "enhance" the Q on, and have at it. The cable
can be slipped into the rig by way of a vent hole at the back, through the
top lid, etc.

You can readily experiment easily this way, too, to achieve best results,
i.e. attaching it to the plate pin of the mixer, or the 1st IF amplifier,
2nd IF amplifier, etc.

It's obviously non-permanent, but it certainly does work...
