All vintage rigs of all flavors are always welcome, if it isn't vacuum, then
just fake a hum!
Wednesday November 24th -
Please join us for the Hallicrafters Collectors International, HCI, Global Glow
Roundtable. It will be on both twenty and forty meters this evening, here is the
schedule:
Forty Meters -
6:00-7:00 PM EST, (2300-0000 UTC) on either 7.280 or 7.235 MHZ lsb
Note: If we get lost, meet on ECARS at 2315 UTC on 7.255 or MIDCARS on 7.258 MHZ
lsb
Twenty Meters -
7:00-8:00+ PM EST, (0000-0100 UTC) on 14.315 MHZ usb +/- for key clicks, mike
splatter and Turkey's beating feet as they flee the half crazed TV gourmet chef
screaming those strange culinary words as he/she brandishes that gleaming steel
knife that is long enough to qualify as a King Arthur's sword, chasing the poor
fowl birds down the aisles of the local supermarket with feathers flying, neatly
stacked cans tumbling down in a cascade of canned green peas, waxed yellow beans
and steamed squash as the knife slices up the holiday atmosphere and puts
everyone in the mood for Jack The Ripper, not Pilgrims, Native Americans and a
feast topped off with pumpkin pie and enough Dream Whip to hide the Empire State
building!
So join us tonight and let's have some festive fun with our vintage rigs,
favorite Thanksgiving tales and whatever else spurs our curiosity. Hear you
then!
