Brian,
You can buy a battery operated quartz clock from Roberta Hummel, made
especially for Hammarlund receivers. Once installed, it looks very much
like the original Telechron clock.
She now deals strictly by mail order, to 202 Midvale Drive, Marshall, Wi.
53559. Check with her on the price and availability if you're interested -
I think I paid $35 including shipping for mine about six months ago.

Now, don't everybody laugh at the same time, but I'm wondering if there
might be a Telechron clock motor available somewhere out there in Hammarlund
Land. Perhaps there is an HQ-170/180 with the 24 hour clock which is
sacreligiously being parted out. Previous sources for the 3.6 RPM motor
are no longer available. Thanks. Brian K9VKY. k9vky at arrl.net
