[Hammarlund] Collins or Hammarlund?

See..... it is all a matter of opinions and preferences. I have an R-391
that is pretty much like new (the green depot paint hasn't even been
scratched off the screw heads) and also an SP-600 that I had to re-cap.
Both are fine radios, and while the R-391 is better for accurate
frequency location, the ease of use of the SP-600 means the SP-600 is
used far more often than the R-391. Like others, I won't give up either.
Drift? None that I've noticed. I can power up the SP-600, dial in a
known BC frequency on the vernier setting, and listen all day without
touching the dial again.
