[Hammarlund] Collins or Hammarlund?

Being the contented owner of both receivers (R-390A and SP-600), among
others, I agree completely with the insightful comments from members of the
group regarding both.   I must say, though, after having enjoyed my
SP-600-JX17 for years now, I never had a clue that the AGC was "not
performing exactly right".  It sounds absolutely wonderful to me, and I have
a rather critical ear when it comes to HF receivers.  (And yes, those
'little red knobs' really do set if off !!  HI.)
