[Hammarlund] HQ100 SSB and CW Reception

Hi Al and the List,

I have a nice H100 I listen to regularly, though mostly on AM.  Follow the
manual instuctions for CW set up.  Turn the BFO counterclockwise to about
the 7 or 8 o'clock position and tune your signal from there.  It may just be
my set but the BFO does not function well fully counter-clockwise. The q
multiplier must own and set approximately two and one-half units left or
right of vertical depending on which sideband you need.  It works nicely
once you get the hang of but is difficult at first.  Let me know if I can be
