Let me know if you need help finding a replacement clock crystal for the
HQ-100. I recently acquired an HQ-100 "fixer-upper" with a missing clock
crystal, and it wasn't easy finding a replacement. Most of the resources
listed on the various Hammarlund and other web sites are old, and the
companies are out of business, or temporarily inactive. I finally found one
guy who makes them, but it took me weeks of searching.

Hi Kees,
The schematic for my HQ-100 (AC) indicates the audio gain pot (R27) is 1
Meg Ohm.
I have not looked inside mine recently. It came with the tubes packed
separately, and initially installing the tubes and cleaning all the
switch contacts is all I've done so far. Next time it does get opened,
I'll think about replacing the missing clock crystal.
