Bob, Al and Group,

I don't have any additional information other than what is on the web site. 
They are fairly common, and Northern Radio SP-600's are quite common.

    I have not seen, or heard of, any documentation on the Northern mods.
I think Les has had at least one of them, maybe he has more info.
