As always, all flavors and cents of vintage gear are welcome - (if it isn't
vacuum, remain silent or just lie!)

Today, Sunday February 22nd, is George Washington's birthday. Yea George! Thanks
to my grandson Brandon's generosity, he shared his Cold with me. Forgot to tell
him some things are best not to share, obviously. One is any disease, two is
your wife and three is your Hallicrafters as some knob twisting rice box
generation person will screw it up for sure! I rarely catch a local blight
circulating among the populous, but Brandon gives me what he has no matter how
hard I try to avoid accepting his offerings! When I get sick, I get SICK! I did
not disappoint myself, although I truly wish I would have, and I feel like a
word I can't print here -

The pre-Net portion, complete with nose blowing and sneezing, will commence at
12:45 PM EST, (1745 UTC) and the Net proper at 1:15 PM EST, (1815 UTC). Don't
ask how I feel, as I don't think I can say that word on the air either! The
frequency will be 14.293 Mhz usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and for their
sake, nobody better splatter my MI alligator today! My nose is running, the
gerbils are frantically sprinting on their little treadmill to keep these tubes
lit in the HF amp, (the extra caffeine I put in their food could be related to
this!) and I am sipping something hot in a mug. Can't smell anything, not even
my grandson who ate cold pizza for breakfast and is a lethal weapon, not sure
what is in this cup. Then again, he fixed it, maybe it is best I don't know! I
may never forget the time he got the hot chocolate mix confused with the
chocolate Exlax ...

I hope to hear some of you later. I will be on air at 12:15 PM EST aprox.,
(1715 UTC), tuning up this hurler of electron particles. Be sure to talk a lot
today, so I can just sit here and enjoy my misery. I hate sneezing on the desk
mike, makes such a mess! Splatters the digital display too, but who cares, I
can't read it anyhow!
