[Hammarlund] Info on Hammarlund HX-50

Hi Jeff, $65 is a great price for an HX-50 that looks nice and may even work.  For that money, its worth taking the risk.    There are folks using the HX-50 on the air, and there's alot of opinions about it. In a nutshell, some folks think the HX-50 stinks, some folks think its great, and some folks are undecided :)))))))))))  I owned one back in 1970 and it was great.  I recently bought one a few months ago and I'm hoping its equally great.  I'm pairing it with the matching HXL-1 amplifier and HQ-180A.  How does the audio sound? I dunno.  I used my HX-50 on SSB daily (again back in 1970) and it got great audio reports.  Good luck!
