That's a nice review of the HQ-129, and the interesting mods, etc.
For your HQ-180A(non-C) needs go to The Hammarlund Historian website,
<http://www.hammarlund.info>
and take a look in the "service" section, under "Parts or service sources".
You'll find sources for the clock (tho' a "quartz" version), and the clock
lens (crystal). I have no connection with the vendors, but have bought from
both and received very satisfactory merchandise. Then you can have an
HQ-180AC ;-) (The panels are there, too.)
