> Why? Low noise floor, exceptional sensitivity, accurate frequncy read out.

great push-pull amplifers  with 10 watts of audio, combined with a
continious varible band with filter. The SP-600 Pros rate very vary well in
this area also.

Nems-Clark survialance Receivers, models 1001 & a 1008.

choose a TEN Tec RX-340, mainly due to it being one of the most advanced
receivers built. If we are limiting this ti vintage gearI'd go for a
Hammarlund 310 Pro, mainly out of rarity and it being the one Pro model that
I dont already have.
