Harold, what you got is a perfect example of why tubes and crystals should
be pulled and wrapped seperately before shipping. Anyway, I doubt that
chasing after postal insurance is worth the time or money. Tubes can be had
at Antique Electronic supply (check their website and order their free
catalouge while you're there). Someone was offering re-pro clocks just
recently and several people on this list are using them. I no longer have
the info so hopefully someone else will chime in with that. I'd go ahead and
take the cover off and see what's rolling around under there. Could be a
screw or nut, or even part of the broken clock! 73's...Mike
