All vintage gear of all flavors is always welcome -   	
	
In spite of circulating rumors, I am not barefoot and pregnant. Just barefoot!
Ameritron has shipped a replacement 8877, hopefully it will be here about
Tuesday and the amp functional for next Sunday. 	
	
The Hallicrafters Collectors International 20 meter Net will be held on Sunday
September 8th. The pre-Net willcommence at 12:45 PM EDT, (1645 UTC). The Net
proper will start at 1:15 PM EDT, (1715 UTC). The frequency will be 14.293 Mhz
usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the sound of happily chirping, or is
it hysterically laughing, Crickets who kept me awake all Thursday night (Friday
morning) singing their stupid little hearts out inside my house! I got more
dents in my linoleum from trying to squash them with my large rubber mallet than
a bowling alley lane the Globe Trotters dribbled bowling balls on! That is
another story which I shall write soon, well as soon as my wrists stop hurting
from carpet tunnel mallet syndrome anyhow.	
	
I hope to hear many of you tomorrow. Maybe with luck, and some pregnant
propagation, you might even hear my puny station. For now the Alligator is DOA
and the Tadpole transciever is propagating the ionosphere with rf attached to
amphibian chromosomes being hurled skyward like peas from a CO2 driven pea
shooter! Just don't step upon me too hard with those QRP rigs, ok?
