Jim, I just had another thought. Peter Bertini writes a column called the
"Wireless Connection" in Popular Communications magazine which I subcribe to
each month. In an upcomming issue, he'll be showing how to build a crystal
calibrator for radios that don't have one. He obviously will have to know
where to get crystals before he can write the article. His email is
