kudos to glenn zook, who got so many folks off their duffs to offer =
comments about his hammarlund parts. the last two hammarlund digests =
have been the funniest and most lively ones yet! this is a good thing. =
kudos also to duane for his thoughts on mother's day...very nice. now, i =
posted this question a few weeks ago just before my LAN went defunct and =
my isp switched me to another network. whatever replies there were i =
missed. sitting on top of my hq-180 is my hq-110-c. (yes, the clock =
works). on the hf bands the rig is rock stable. but when six meters =
opens up, i have to adjust the bfo every few seconds to hear ssb. it =
drifts up, down, and all around. someone did get a message to my inbox =
saying that the hq-170 and even the revered sp-600 have the same =
problem. why would hammarlund offer six meters on some rigs with no =
reguard to stability? anyone know of any mods or part changes to improve =
or solve this problem? i would enjoy any comments anyone might have. =
73's everyone. mike [email protected]
