Yes, two 4 mfd @ 600 VDC caps in series will yield one 2 mfd @ 1200  VDC
unit. You probably will not find any 600 volt electrolytics out there,
however. Use three 8 Mfd @ 350 VDC in series, which should be easily
obtainable.
