I have used my HQ-180 with a program called CWGet by UA9OSV to receive CW.
Really simple hookup, pretty much straight out of the headphone jack and into
the sound card. It worked fine. A little drift isn't too much problem with that
software as it will track the signal to some extent. Not that drift is much of
a problem with the 180, after a little warmup. I also played around with
receiving slow scan tv with it too, don't remember the software just now, but
it worked pretty well on that also. PSK31 as I recall, was not too good, but I
was just kinda playing around with it, might not have tried hard enough.
