[Hammarlund] Missing Variable cap shields on 180's

Well, you learn something every day. Thanks all.

So now the question is this: My (like brand new) HQ180 has the shields. It's
in a nice indoor, temp controlled environment (and likely always will be).
Is the recommendation that I remove them anyway? Given it's 'official' I
will go ahead an remove them if there is absolutely no degradation in
performance.
