I have a GR-650-A that has been doing faithful duty in the lab for quite
some time. The thing looks really cool too. Right out of "Frankenstein's
Radio Lab". These show up on e-Bay from time to time, and rarely sell for
more than 50 bucks. A steal at that price. The optional P-1 oscillator /
power supply is a must-have. I keep a few GR "standard" inductors and
capacitors around, which are just the thing for checking the accuracy of
these things.
