[Hammarlund] More questions about the HQ-170A

Hello
First let me Thank everyone who sent my advice and
help on my first post. Sure was nice to get all the
help from people who know. I have advised my friend
that the receiver is now working and asked him if he
wanted anymore for it and he said that he would stick
with the orignal price of $225. I think I am going to
buy it now but I still have some questions. I need to
know where to get some touch up paint for the cabinet,
it has a few scratches that I want to fix, it is not
bad enough to paint the entire cabinet. I also need to
know how to clean the inside chassis? I would like to
clean all the dust and grim off the inside to like new
condition. I would also like to perform an alignment
on the receiver. One thing I forgot to mention is that
it does have the orginal manual and 24 hr clock. The
clock works very good also. I also need some tricks on
cleaning the black knobs and how do you repaint the
markers on the knobs? I appreciate the help.
