[Ham-Mac] remote fldigi from Mac to PC

I understand this is possible , but have not quite figured out how to do it yet.  Not a network guy, but have a local LAN with PC or Mac (A/B Switch) connected to IC-756ProIII via Navigator.  Would like to use the radio with my MacBookAir from the house out to my shack.

Does anyone have step-by-step kind of like Dummies guide for doing this?  Or point me to where this might be described for a novice.
