On my boat, I have a Yaesu FT 450 and a SCS PTC-IIex pactor III modem with I use with Airmail software on the Winlink system with a 4 port Keyspan serial USB adapter…..
The Keyspan device handles the SCS Modem on port one, the Yaesu FT450 on port two, a GPS input on port three, and a AIS receiver on port four...
And, I want to try the Winmor sound card mode, so I have a new Signalink USB and will try that with RMS Express.
On board computers are an old MacBook with Bootcamp and Vista, an a much newer MacBook Air with Parallels and Windows 10….
So with a new sound card device I can run PSK31, RTTY, CW, when time allows…….
And I need a logger for these contacts as well as my voice contacts.
And of course, I would prefer to stay on the Mac OS X, Windows run on both computers just to access the Winlink system….
Which logger? Which sound card application? And finally, which OS? Mac preferred, but windows available…..
CAT control is available for the logger, but I don’t need to swing a beam or log on to spotting networks…..
