Hi Dick,
I got your fMail to the others that helped me. I also read the one from Jack Brindle, I don't know all that he is saying, however, it works just fine now. I had a contact with a ham in Wyoming and he checked my signal and sid i was strong and clean. I will just leave it at that. Thanks again for all you have done.

The problem was solved by a tip from Dave Wright. Per Dick, N5XRD, the solution was the setting of K3's line gain. As a Kenwood user I have never heard of line gain and was not able to help. Thanks to some help from K3 user N5XRD is back in business.
