I had a similar issue with the KeySpan USB/Serial device. I had
to edit the config file to add the /dev/tty.KeySerial1 device so that
it would show up in the drop down.
Does the device show in /dev/ttyXXXXXXX
I know that in the fldigi prefs.xml there is a XMLRIGDEVICE that
you can set to the serial port.
The brain is a fog. This may have been some other piece of software.
