[Ham-Mac] WSJT-X OS/X font size

I'm just starting with WSJT-X. I have it working (most of the time) but the font size is almost impossible to read.

The latest documentation says to create a fonts.txt file with four numbers in it for larger font size.  Whenever I do that, WSJT-X crashes immediately on startup.   From the searching I've done, I'm not the only one with this problem.  I have not found any solutions.

Does anyone know how to successfully increase the font size of WSJT-X on a Mac?
