[Ham-Mac] Mouse hovering on an Apple MacBook Air (trackpad)

I have been trying to help KG4USN setup fldigi-3.21.72 for use with his TS-590S and his MacBook Air. Everything seems to work but the mouse hover where you hover over a call sign and the popup shows the QTH, last QSO and if the call is a LoTW user. It works okay with (a corded or bluetooth) mouse and the issue may be with the trackpad (or user settings) on the MacBook Air.

I would appreciate some feedback from other Apple trackpad users. I use an iMac with the Magic Mouse and never noticed the issue until I tried to help KG4USN.  If you trackpad works, please let us know what trackpad settings you have in OS X.

Dave, W1HKJ, says fldigi works fine on Lenovo netbook and Compaq notebook.  Linux and XP.
