[Ham-Mac] How to publish on the Web

My one suggestion is to keep the content and the hosting separate.
Best to generate the web site on your local computer and publish to
a hosted web site.
If you tie them together, you have your hands tied should the service
change policies, raise prices, go out of business. If you host
separately you can move from hostgator to bluehost to godaddy, or
where ever by moving the content.
Also get your own domain name so that if you must move the content
the links in the search engines and in reader bookmarks will not
change.
A little more work and you have to learn some of the web plumbing
but you won't get caught by the magic service you used going away
(as some Apple service did recently).
