Guys - you all are my heroes! I've been trying to crack the CAT/PTT control issue and had no luck to date. After simply doing what Dave recommended rig control and PTT are working FB…now all I gotta do is read the documentation and learn the procedures for these modes.
My driver/CAT code is:
/dev/tty.SLAB_USBtoUART
for the USB direct connection to my IC-7600 which is the same used for fldigi on my setup.
