All,
Regarding cross execution, I have some background questions if I may.
I'm quite familiar with VirtualBox, which runs a real copy of Windows side-by-side with the Mac desktop. But
I gather Crossover is more like Wine in that they both attempt to execute native Windows executables without
a Windows license, is that correct? If so, then if the port to Crossover can be done, does that bode well
for Wine as well? I'm asking because I'm wondering whether the cost of Crossover (not large, granted) is
worth it compared to Wine. In my experience Wine is an admirable attempt but is very fussy. For example it
does run EZNEC Pro pretty well, but not most games I've tried. Has anyone tried Wine for the JT* apps?
Thanks,
