[Ham-Mac] Confused on a mac

Okay, yes, this is how I had it setup.

I did not setup any additional wires. I'll look over the Buddipole forums for instructions on this.

UGH! Not as advertised.

It comes with plugs for audio in and out. 

So you can NOT use the headphone and mic jack built-in on a Macbook pro?
