[Ham-Mac] Confused on a mac

Oh, Eddy - one other thought:  Are you using the stock hand microphone 
that came with the IC-7000?  If so, the "default" radio settings are not 
the best.  I would set the Mic Gain to 25% and turn the Compressor ON at 
level 5 as a starting point.  Then fine tune to your voice using the ALC 
meter.  That may very well be why you are not being "heard".
