Rick,
I agree with you and don't see any real value to the five channels. I have worked a few on PSK-31 just to see if I could. It was like the Country song that says we were striking matches just to see them burn.
If you want to think about chaos, just imagine a rare DX station calling CQ on Channel #1 saying he is listening for NA's on Channel #2, EU's on #3 and JA's on 4.
The purpose of my posting was to show fldigi is good for those that want to try the digital modes on the 60 Meter channels. I would have a hard time putting an FSK RTTY application on the FCC specified center frequency. I gave up on FSK when I got rid of the PK-232 several years ago and have no intention of ever returning.
