Hi Tom DL2RUM,

Thanks for the tip on Soundsource. It is a very nice little app that is useful
and will be used in conjunction with fldigi.

The good news with the new (to me) direct USB interface between the iMac
and the Kenwood TS-590S is I was able to get rid of the SignaLink USB and
the troublesome Keyspan USA-28X Serail-to-USB adapter for rig control.

The bad news is I miss the TX knob on the face of the SignaLink USB and
now have to use the the OS X System Preferences/Sound/Output slider to
adjust out the ALC from the desired audio output. The step function of the
TS-590's Menu Item #64 for Audio Input is just about useless. Step function
#2 is too low and #3 is too high.

The OS X version of fldigi does not have audio adjustment slider controls so
the Soundsource is a welcome addition. I just have to remember to always
select/highlight the Internal Speakers after adjusting the USB Audio CODEC
Output slider to prevent my ship's bell hourly chime from being transmitted.
