[Ham-Mac] Help with Using Apple's Mail for Posing to Yahoo Groups

I could use some help with Preferences settings in Apple's Mail for
posting to the various Yahoo Groups.  I posted a QST about the 
new TXLevel feature in fldigi and when it showed up on the Yahoo 
web page and in the digest format the CR's were really hosed.

I have Mail Preferences/Composing set to Plain Text and when 
typing I insert a return at the end of each line. For some reason 
the returns are being ignored in Yahoo and something is putting 
returns after a certain number of characters.

The automatic insertion of CR's after a number of characters 
in plain text was the reason I stopped using Microsoft's Entourage
and went back to Apple's Mail in 2010.  Now Mail is doing the same 
thing.

I could use some help on how to format plain text in Apple
Mail for posting to Yahoo Groups.
