[Ham-Mac] new iMac problems

Couple of years ago I tried to do the migration from my XYL's old iMac G5 (Tiger) to her new iMac (Snow Leopard) and I never could get it to work correctly via a Firewire transfer.  Ended up copying the files over and configuring the apps from scratch.  MIgration from her iMac and my Mac Pro to our new MacBook Pros went smoothly.  I think the transition across the operating systems is what cause the burp.
