Yeah and we all do the speed limit ALL the time.

This thread is getting silly to say the least.

And to comment on a mac is cheaper then an "similar equipped" PC, I deal with all the time.

The fact is, half of my customer base have PC's and the other half Mac. This really comes down to "total cost of ownership" cheaper PC hardware is cheaper at the purchase point but much more expensive after that. Virus software, maintenance and general support is 2 to 3 times greater them my Mac clients. As a matter of fact the life expectancy of the PC hardware is ~18months before I have to do something substantial to it. On the Mac it's at a minimum the 3 year after the applecare timeframe. O, then there is the "What do you want to do with the hardware when it gets upgraded?

PC - "You can toss it"

Mac - " Can you wipe it, I want to give it to my kids"?

There are also endless articles on this subject.

Fact is, your getting more for your $ with most Apple products.

I told myself I would not bite...

Maybe I am just cranky since we only got 16 hours in this weekend in ARRL DX CW before the 80mph gusts took the power out in the Catskills.

Here are some pics of 3 ele M2 40M yagi with 75mph winds Saturday AM. Picture 10 of 61 was the best I could grab at the time. A few hours earlier the elements were almost touching each other!
