[Ham-Mac] EchoMac and Ports

Jack,
The Mac has two ways of connecting to networks. One is the ethernet port
(the one you have the cable plugged into) is connecting via your router/ADSl
line to the internet. The other is the wireless (aka Airport) connection -
which appears to be on but not connected to anything in particular -
although it is trying hard.
