Mike,

Make sure this box is check in CocoaModem preferences and it will try to reconnect audio settings.

Note: If you use a USB audio adaptor and it's not attached to computer next time you run the program.
It won't be able to select those preferences. IE. CococoaModem scans every time it launched to see what audio options are available or if something has changed.

Select the Config menu to specify transmit and receive audio ports and more. Note you need to do this for each mode. PSK, RTTY etc... As each one can be different...
