New  version of MultiScan - MultiScan 2  beta is available for download from:

The main difference compared to MultiScan is complete interface redesign. Also a few bugs were identified and fixed in this version.

MultiScan 2 is a SSTV program that supports just about any analog SSTV mode: Robot, Scottie, Martin, Wraase SC-1 and SC-2, PD and P modes and is build as universal binary, should run on both PowerPC and Intel Macs, OS version 10.5 or later. There is no any documentation yet but I believe it is pretty simple to use. First open preferences and select audio source to use and set other options as desired. Upon start program is in stand by mode, processing incoming audio and waiting for VIS signal. When VIS received and decoded program goes to receive mode and image displayed as being received in the right view. To transmit you'll need to load image, add text, header to left view (play with various options) and hit transmit button. Video frame from iSight or any other supported video source can be captured and transmitted as well. To edit text select Caption from Layers pop up button, choose text with Attributes Pop Up, select text and edit. Program uses standard Fonts panel for selecting font, font size, color, shadow and so on.
